Aquatera Splashes into the Multiplex with Sponsorship

A new species of colourful and playful dinosaurs was recently discovered playing at the site of the new Multiplex. The dinosaurs live in Aquaterasaurus Land, Grande Prairie’s first indoor waterplayground

Aquaterasaurus Land boasts a large playground structure, complemented by lots of water coming from all angles, including a huge bucket, water cannons, and a waterslide.

Aquatera Utilities provided a Leadership Gift of $250,000 over 10 years to support the Multiplex. Aquatera will also have educational information on all waste cans in the facility as well as an interactive kiosk

“It is so appropriate in a facility that has such an amazing aquatics feature that Aquatera provide the water to make it all come together,” says Mayor Bill Given. “We know Aquaterasaurus Land will be a huge hit with the community.”

“Aquatera is pleased to support a facility our customers will enjoy, and one that will provide significant economic impact for this region in the future,” says Andy Beal, Aquatera Utilities Board Chair.

Over 1.3 million gallons of Aquatera water began filling the four pools this week in preparation for the December opening of the Multiplex. The facility includes squash/racquetball courts, a field house, fitness gym, running track, and a large aquatic activity area which includes Aquaterasaurus Land.
